This is the most important part of the guide, in this section i will tell you which graphics card you should buy for your PC or Laptop, and will also tell you why.
I have divided this section in 3 parts
So, let's begin.
If you are a gamer, then you already know about graphics cards and how much they cost, if you don't know, then let me tell you that Graphics cards are really expensive and I mean really expensive, but when it comes to 2 GB graphics cards they aren't that expensive as compared to 4 GB and 6 GB Graphics cards.
2 GB Graphics cards are available between Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3500 in India, and that's pretty much it, so if you have a budget of 3000 rupees then this is the best graphics card for you.
Performance of 2 GB Graphics cards depends on many things such as Resolution of your monitor, your processor, your system memory and many more things, but if you have a 2 GB Graphics card with a processor of 2.6 GHZ or higher then you can play games with resolutions up to 2560x1440 on high to ultra settings without any problem.
You can also play games with resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 on ultra settings without any problem. If you want to play games with high resolution then you will have to compromise on some settings such as shadow quality or texture quality or anti-aliasing etc.
When it comes to features we have so many things we can talk about, but as of now i will just tell you the most important features of 2 GB Graphics cards.
1. Direct X 12 Support (Direct X 12 is the latest version of Direct X)
2. Improved Gameplay
3. Improved Graphics Quality
4. Superb Battery Life
5. Cool and Quiet Operation
6. Low Power Consumption
7. Low Heat Generation
So, these were the most important features of 2 GB Graphics cards, there are many other features as well and i will add them in the future, so keep coming back to this page for updates on this topic.
3 GBs is better because the more vRAM the more textures your GPU can hold onto, the more textures your GPU can hold onto, the better looking game you will have (in most cases).
1 GB is better because it has a higher bandwidth and a higher bus width(256 bit vs 128 bit).
No! because if you have a 2 GB graphics card then it means your processor is not powerful enough to handle high resolution and high graphics settings at the same time. So, if you want to play games at high resolution then go for a 4 GB graphics card otherwise stick to 2 GBs.
If you want to play games at high settings then you need a minimum processor of 3 GHZ but if you're running games at resolutions greater than 1080p then your CPU should be at least 4 GHZ or more than that depending upon how much money you are willing to spend on your CPU .
If you have a 1 TB hard disk then I think 500 GBs of disk space should be sufficient for anyone who loves playing games but if you love downloading games from Steam (or downloading games from any other place) then I suggest you to get at least 500 GBs or more than that.
If you want to run games at ultra settings or if you want to run games at high resolutions then I suggest you to get at least 4 GBs of RAM, but if you are going to play games with low or medium settings then 2 GBs should be sufficient for you.
If you have a 2 TB hard disk then you should have at least 1 TB of free space, if you have a 1 TB hard disk then 500 GBs of free space will be sufficient for you.
HDD is the standard hard disk drive and SSD is the fast hard disk drive, but SSDs aren't that cheap as compared to HDDs so if you want a fast computer then I would suggest you to go for an SSD but if money is not a problem then go for SSDs.
I can only say that it will be difficult but it will be possible because you can always lower the settings to medium or low but if money is not a problem then do get a processor of 4 GHZ or more than that.
No! because 2 GHZ processors are not powerful enough for high settings because they are entry level processors.
Definitely i would suggest you to go for Intel Core i5 processors because they are very powerful and also they don't cost much as compared to other processors of other brands.
Yes! because 4 GBs of RAM is enough for running any game on high settings but still if you want to play games on ultra settings then get 6 GBs of RAM or more than that.
Definitely i would suggest you to go for Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 SDRAM and if you want DDR3, i would suggest you to go for Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 SDRAM.
If you want to play games at high settings then I suggest you to go for at least 8 GBs of RAM but if you are going to play games at medium and low settings then 4 GBs will be enough.
Core i3 is the entry level processor from Intel and Core i5 is the mid range processor from Intel. So, if money is not a problem then go for i5 else go for i3 processors.
