Now Google will help you locate the nearest COVID-19 testing center

Written by Sumit Pandey

Today, Google announced that to encourage their understanding of the coronavirus, they will help users find COVID-19 test centers. A new feature is being introduced for Google Search, Google Assistant, and Google Maps to enable users to find information about approved COVID-19 test centers.

Google has partnered with Apple to build a communication monitoring tool that will not only help users but also the health authorities track the COVID movement.

How does Google’s new feature work?

While searching on Google Assistant for 'coronavirus testing' or 'COVID testing,' it will provide users with a 'testing' tab on the check results page that offers a list of research laboratories nearby along with crucial information and guidance.

The new feature is available in eight languages, namely Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Gujarati, Marathi, and Kannada.

After this, next to the search result, you will find a "learn more" option, which will provide more information from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
