Panasonic's latest flagship Optical Lens Mirrorless, the LUMIX G9, was introduced by the Electronics group.
LUMIX G9 is the best-in-class hybrid camera available on the market today because it blends high-quality video/picture outputs and versatility with usability. It is an in-body stabilizing (IBIS) 4 K 4-third camera, a 4 K 60fps record, double card slots, and a sealed body with weather conditions.
Commenting on the launch of Panasonic India & SAARC, Mr. Sandeep Sehgal, Chief of Business, Imaging Business Group, said, "We've always focused on the anticipation of consumer needs and introducing a product that blends innovation, style, value, and durability."
Hardeep Singh Sarna, Product Head-Imaging Business Group, Panasonic India & SAARC, talked about Lumix G9 and said, "Photography has taken on a new role in our lives today with increased social interaction and the consumption of digital contents. Lumix G9 is designed for video bloggers, wedding videographers and photographers and is lightweight with 4K60p high mobility image stability, class-leading image graphics, and scale.
The 20.3 megapixels, a four-thirds microsensor is used in the Lumix G9. This feature promises a fast focusing device that can be locked in 0.04 seconds. For hand-held beer shooting in low light, the body often balances in 5-axis.
The Body I.S.(Picture Stabilizer), uses a 6.5-stop, low-light shutter speed to help users stable handheld photographs and video imaging. With its HDR, video, L-log and waveform monitor (WFM), and 4 K 30p/25P 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording, the camera provides outstanding video output that ensures 64 times as much color information in images. The camera delivers exceptional video power.
The camera boasts unique shooting modes that we saw in recent offers, like the GH5S from Panasonic. You can shoot 6K or 4K burst modes, with either 30fps or 60fps. It can monitor faces and eyes and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
The camera is available at all Panasonic brand stores and other prominent online and offline retail locations. The price ranges around INR 98,980 for the body and INR 1,39,990 with the 12-60 Leica lens package. The price seems reasonable, especially for a video, given the camera's hardware features and capabilities.
